The Riviera
Full residential makeover
These clients wanted a resort on the lake, and not the kind where you fly somewhere. They host often, they cook seriously, and they wanted a backyard that could handle a Tuesday night dinner or a summer-long party with the same ease.We terraced the slope with Centennial Ledgestone retaining walls, stepping the space down from house to pool to lawn to dock so the views open up from every level. Ledgestone accent walls carry the same warm texture throughout, and Valders patio stone in a soft cream ties it together. The outdoor kitchen is the heart of the place: pizza oven, grill, smoker, sink, and a long bar for guests to gather while the cooking happens. After dinner, everyone moves to the fire pit or the hot tub. A custom shed hides the pool equipment and keeps the pool toys out of sight until they’re needed.Specimen evergreens add structure and year-round character, and they make it feel like this garden has always been here.Lake views from every angle. Sunset included.
